At this month’s general meeting, we will learn from Erin about the AAAS-led Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) workshop. This workshop is held annually with the goal of exposing young scientists to the world of science policy and encouraging stronger advocacy on the part of the academic community. Erin will tell us about her experience at AAAS and meeting staffers on Capitol Hill.

We’ll take a group trip to the Museum of Science for a discussion of the science policy issues concerning use of cognitive enhancing drugs in schools.
